Dashboard Overview

The Dashboard is your home base in Cheffed. It provides quick access to your sessions, automations, and key actions.

When you sign in, you’ll see several key sections:

Quick Actions

Section titled “Quick Actions”

The top of the dashboard features quick action buttons:

  • New Session - Start a new AI coding session
  • Create Automation - Set up an event-driven workflow
  • Browse Agents - Explore available prompt templates

Recent Sessions

Section titled “Recent Sessions”

View your most recent sessions at a glance:

  • Session name and status (active, completed, failed)
  • Creation time and duration
  • Quick access to continue or review sessions

Click any session to open it and view the full conversation history.

Automations Overview

Section titled “Automations Overview”

See your active automations and their recent activity:

  • Automation name and trigger type
  • Execution count and success rate
  • Quick enable/disable toggle

Workspaces

Section titled “Workspaces”

If you have multiple workspaces configured, switch between them from the workspace selector in the header.

The sidebar provides access to all major sections:

Session States

Section titled “Session States”

Sessions display different states:

  • Active - Session is running, agent is available
  • Completed - Session has ended normally
  • Failed - Session encountered an error
  • Idle - Session is paused (container spun down)
Section titled “Filtering and Search”

On the Sessions page, you can:

  • Search sessions by name or content
  • Filter by status, date range, or workspace
  • Sort by creation date, last activity, or name
